St. John’s Christmas Fair 2017 – Books & Nearly New Donations

NEW for 2017: Books and Nearly New donations can only be made at the Rectory Garage and on pre-scheduled dates and times. The first scheduled Drop-Off dates are Saturdays, August 5, 12, 19 and 26, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. There is no Drop-Off on Saturday, September 2.

Future Drop-Off dates will be scheduled and announced in At St. John’s and this website.

Join the St. John’s Grow-to-Give Garden team! Volunteers are always welcome!

Workdays are every Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. and every second Saturday of the month, 10:00 a.m. These days feature standard gardening opportunities as well as more substantial construction projects like raised bed building and shed renovation. Friends and family of ALL AGES are welcome to participate (we even offer community service credits). Contact Jesse Lebus or Seamus Mitchell for more information.

Lemonade on the Lawn

Lemonade on the Lawn is a summer tradition at St. John’s. Please sign up to host one. It’s easy and fun. Our sexton makes the lemonade. You just bring some simple treats, help set up, welcome guests, and clean up. Then head home knowing you’ve shared some summer hospitality. Contact Penny Ferraro or sign up on Sundays.

Join the Hospitality Team – Everyone is Welcome!

Have you ever wondered who puts together the many social events at St. John’s – Coffee Hours, picnics, BBQ’s, and receptions? The Hospitality Team organizes it all. Hospitality is a vital and fun part of the fellowship of St. John’s. We welcome you to join our committee, host a Coffee Hour or to help occasionally at one of our events throughout the year. It is a rewarding way to welcome and meet parishioners and guests alike.
