The Chancel Choir is a vibrant, multi-generational community built on fellowship, teamwork, and belonging. This is a place for everyone — whether you're a seasoned singer or just starting out, our doors are open!Rehearsals & Service Schedule
The choir season runs from Labor Day to Father’s Day. Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm in the Sherwood Room, with a Sunday call time at 9:15 am. The choir supports the congregation during the 10:00 am worship service, offering music in a variety of liturgical styles.
What We Sing
The Chancel Choir performs a wide range of Western sacred music, with much drawn from the rich Anglican tradition. Our repertoire spans all periods of classical music and incorporates influences from various musical traditions.
Special Services & Events
In addition to weekly worship, the choir sings for several special services throughout the year, including:
- Christmas Eve
- Holy Week services
- Choral Evensong (sung evening prayer on feast days)
- Mother’s Day (special music with chamber orchestra)
No Experience? No Problem!
This volunteer choir, supplemented by three paid choral associates, welcomes singers of all experience levels. No singer is left behind — we’re here to help you grow and enjoy the experience of singing together.
More Than Music
The Chancel Choir is also a social community! Annual gatherings include a welcome-back retreat and barbecue in the fall, a Christmas party after our annual Handel’s Messiah Sing, and more.
