Everything is changed in 2020, but we are proceeding boldly ahead with our Christmas Pageant!

This year we are recording many of the elements outdoors, and joining together to sing on zoom at 3 pm on Christmas Eve. Be a part of this traditional way of celebrating the coming of Christ into our lives.

December 6 - Costuming in times between 11:15 and 1.
December 13 - Filming between 11:15 and 1.
December 20 - Filming between 11:15 and 1.
(December 19 is a back up date in case of inclimate weather.)

News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

Like our lives, our church community is a gift from God we neither earn nor deserve, and yet, it is ours. We are responsible for caring for it, for nourishing it, and for participating in the ever outpouring gift of God's grace which we share through our actions together. We are stewards of these gifts for as long as we live, and we steward the gift of this church so that future generations will have the opportunity to receive God’s grace and put it into action.

Our whole life and ministry is “Grace in Action.”
