The Annual Meeting of St. John's Episcopal Church, Cold Spring Harbor, New York will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024 following the 10 am service of Morning Prayer in Bleecker Hall.

At this meeting, the congregation will receive reports from various committees, including Vestry Nominating, Stewardship, and Outreach, and receive written reports from the Treasurer, Caring Connection, and Buildings and Grounds. A state of the church address will be offered by the Rector and Wardens. Additionally, the election of new Vestry Members and Junior Warden will take place at the meeting. News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

Like our lives, our church community is a gift from God we neither earn nor deserve, and yet, it is ours. We are responsible for caring for it, for nourishing it, and for participating in the ever outpouring gift of God's grace which we share through our actions together. We are stewards of these gifts for as long as we live, and we steward the gift of this church so that future generations will have the opportunity to receive God’s grace and put it into action.

Our whole life and ministry is “Grace in Action.”
