Bryce Westervelt appointed Director Of Music
With the support of the Director of Music search committee and the Vestry Executive Committee, I am happy to announce that the church has extended an invitation to Bryce Westervelt to become our permanent Director of Music. I am even happier to report that he has accepted.
I am thrilled with all the incredible energy and progress that Bryce has made in rebuilding our choir programs including our professional section leaders, choral scholars, chancel, bell and children’s choirs. His energy, enthusiasm and flexibility have been profoundly energizing and I am excited to see how the choirs and concerts programs will grow and thrive under his leadership.
More will be said in due course about the direction of our music program, but I hope everyone will join me to extend our warmest congratulations and thanks to Bryce for his willingness to jump right in, make a tremendous positive impact, and, now, stay with us as our Director of Music.
