As Mother's Day approaches, the St. John's Chancel Choir is preparing for its annual tradition of honoring mothers through beautiful music. This year promises to be particularly special as the choir, accompanied by a chamber orchestra, will present Vivaldi's Magnificat during the 10 am service of Morning Prayer on May 12th.
St. John's Chancel Choir has a long-standing tradition of presenting special Mother's Day music, often featuring works by renowned composers like Bach. This year's selection of Vivaldi's Magnificat and the Double Oboe Concerto continues this legacy of musical offerings.
