Cold Springers Youth Group: Bird Houses, Bird Feeders

Sunday, May 6th, 6 - 7:30pm

Bleecker Hall

9, 10, 11 & 12 year olds! Join our church youth group, Cold Springers, for an excellent evening of all things bird! We will share a meal (not seeds), construct and decorate bird feeders and bird houses and spend the remainder of the time playing a game outside. This is a wonderful chance to enjoy a fun time together and help the migratory birds that populate our community!

News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

Like our lives, our church community is a gift from God we neither earn nor deserve, and yet, it is ours. We are responsible for caring for it, for nourishing it, and for participating in the ever outpouring gift of God's grace which we share through our actions together. We are stewards of these gifts for as long as we live, and we steward the gift of this church so that future generations will have the opportunity to receive God’s grace and put it into action.

Our whole life and ministry is “Grace in Action.”
