Concerts by the Pond Presents: Chris Houlihan Recap
This past Sunday, November 13th, St. John's and the Concerts by the Pond concerts series welcomed noted concert organist Christopher Houlihan. Mr. Houlihan performed a wide-ranging concert of works by Bach, Price, Vierne, and Liszt.
The enthusiastic audience was treated to great music followed by a reception. Mr. Houlihan’s virtuosic performance surely pushed the limits of our nearly decade-old Casavant pipe organ as he showed off the wide variety of colors and dynamic range of our instrument.
A special thank you to the St. John’s Concerts by the Pond committee for their continued efforts to bring exciting musical programs to our church community and beyond.
