This year, the Diocese of Long Island is hosting confirmations regionally, and St. John's is hosting ours! Nine young people from our church will be confirmed, in addition to six young people from our church partners in Huntington and Northport. There will be people here from all around the Diocese.

News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

St. John’s Church is a sacred gift we are entrusted to care for and grow. Rooted in faith, we are called to nurture our church community so that it continues to flourish as a source of spiritual strength, fellowship, and service for generations to come.

Our 2025 Stewardship theme, "Rooted in Faith. Growing in Generosity," reminds us that by deepening our faith, we create a foundation for growth.
