C.S. Lewis’ 'The Great Divorce' is coming to New York!

Please join us in NYC for a matinee performance of C.S. Lewis' classic theological fantasy, "The Great Divorce." The story follows several characters as they struggle with the choice between remaining in hell or journeying to heaven. The Fellowship for Performing Arts presents this mesmerizing production on Theatre Row, right in the heart of Broadway! We have a limited number of seats available at the Group Discount rate of $60 per ticket. The show starts at 3 pm on Sunday, December 29. We are making plans after the show for those who may wish to remain in the city for dinner. News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

Like our lives, our church community is a gift from God we neither earn nor deserve, and yet, it is ours. We are responsible for caring for it, for nourishing it, and for participating in the ever outpouring gift of God's grace which we share through our actions together. We are stewards of these gifts for as long as we live, and we steward the gift of this church so that future generations will have the opportunity to receive God’s grace and put it into action.

Our whole life and ministry is “Grace in Action.”
