Please join us immediately following the 10 am service in Bleecker Hall for Coffee Hour hosted by the Outreach Committee and the first Open Outreach Meeting of the year -- all are welcome!

Come hear about the important work that St. John's is accomplishing in our community together. The Outreach Committee will also present its process for discerning parish priorities for our future work together, discuss 2019 Outreach grants and provide a summary of funds distributed so far this year. News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

Like our lives, our church community is a gift from God we neither earn nor deserve, and yet, it is ours. We are responsible for caring for it, for nourishing it, and for participating in the ever outpouring gift of God's grace which we share through our actions together. We are stewards of these gifts for as long as we live, and we steward the gift of this church so that future generations will have the opportunity to receive God’s grace and put it into action.

Our whole life and ministry is “Grace in Action.”
