June Emergency Needs Drive for Eastern Farm Workers
Now through July 4, 2024
Eastern Farm Worker members, mostly seasonal migrant laborers, have an urgent summer need for diapers, formula and other personal care essentials. In response, St. John's Outreach invites donations of the needed items during the month of June (through July 4th) -- see list below.
We hope parishioners will respond generously to help our neighbors in need. Items may be dropped off at St. John's and placed in the bins in the vestibule. Thank you!
*Summer Survival Items:
- Fans
- Bottled water
- Sunscreen
*Baby Items:
- Enfamil – yellow can, regular
- Similac (lower priority than Enfamil)
- Diapers – sizes 3, 4, 5 and 6
- Baby wipes
- Variety of baby foods
*Food & Food Storage:
- Bulk oatmeal
- Natural peanut butter (i.e. just peanuts, can be salted) – 1 case
- Regular peanut butter – 1 case
- Jam (no high fructose corn syrup)
- Cooking oil – 2 cases vegetable and 1 case olive
- Bulk white rice
- Tuna
- Mayonnaise
Adult Care:
- Chucks (pads for incontinence)
- Non-latex exam gloves (2 boxes of each size: small, medium and large)
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Hand soap – small bars and liquid (2 large bottles)
