Kentucky Tornado Relief | St. John's Episcopal Church

Many of us have been deeply moved by the photos and stories emerging from the tornado struck portions of Kentucky.

St. John's is fortunate to be in a relationship with the Episcopal Diocese of Kentucky through a years-long friendship between the rector and the Canon to the Ordinary of the Episcopal Diocese of Kentucky, the Bishop's chief assistant clergy person.

There are also opportunities make donations to support the disaster response either the Bishop's Discretionary Fund (marked for Tornado Relief) or through Episcopal Relief and Development, the Episcopal Church's disaster response and development agency.

Merciful God, you promise to always be with us. Remember now all those suffering from the recent violent weather in this time of their great need. Give them hope and perseverance, comfort them with your goodness, and draw them ever closer together in you, that their common life might be strengthened and their communities enabled to fulfill your purposes, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
