Last Reopening Listening Session

After 10AM Morning Prayer (about 11AM) on Zoom.
St. John's, like many faith communities has spent much of this year worshiping online over Zoom. As the vaccine distribution rises, and hopefully COVID numbers fall in our region, we want to invite you all to a conversation about the process of when and how we will regather for our 10AM service. We know that people have differing comfort levels and concerns. You can read more about the Task Force Here.
We will be inviting you to share your responses to a series of questions:
- What excites and worries you personally when you think about regathering?
- When you think about regathering, what groups or ministries of St. John’s are on your heart?
- Are there any stories from our faith tradition that come to mind when you think about regathering which might help to inform our decision making?
- What aspects of our shared decision will influence whether you choose to come to church in person yourself?
The Vestry meets on Tuesday, May 11 to finalize plans for this regathering work and expects to announce a time-line shortly after that meeting.
