"Once in Royal David's city, stood a lowly cattle stall. Where a mother laid her baby, who is king and Lord of all. Mary was that mother mild. Jesus Christ, her little child."
These words, sung by treble voices, have begun the services of Lessons and Carols offered around the world since they were first sing at King's College, Cambridge, England in 1918. They will begin our service this Sunday as well.
This beloved service is an Advent and Christmas tradition and is many of our parishioner's favorite service of the year. This year we expect a joyful and beautiful celebration of the holiday season featuring all of choirs. The Chancel Choir, the Bell Choir, and the Junior Choir have been preparing for months to offer our community this precious holiday gift.
