News From St. John's Day Camp
It’s been a great summer at St. John's Day Camp so far! In addition to the in-class enrichment programs the campers enjoy, they've taken field trips to the Long Island Children’s Museum, the Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum and White Post Farms. Tomorrow, the campers will be visiting the Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery and then attending a BBQ hosted at our church.
Seeing the camp in action is the best way to understand how special and vitally important this educational mission of St. John's Church really is. Over the years, we’ve had so many wonderful parishioners visit, bringing with them their talents, expertise and care. I will often say that I get far more than any time I give – the campers’ smiles, hugs and unadulterated joy further connects me to life’s bigger picture. I hope you enjoy the gallery of pictures below from this summer's camp.
It’s not too late to donate! We rely on your support to help us honor our commitment to the youngest and most vulnerable members of our community.
