North Shore Audubon Society Annual Native Plant Sale
Place Order by: Wednesday, Apr 24
Pick up: Sunday, May 5
The North Shore Audubon Society is hosting its annual Native Plant Sale and we are happy to help you order plants. Submit your orders by next Wednesday, and we'll pick them up and bring them to St. John’s where you can pick them up on Sunday, May 5. Please print the Native Plant Order Form and return it to St. John’s, with a check (payment information is on the form) in an envelope attention: Native Plant Sale no later than Wednesday, April 24. As the Church offices are closed next Monday, it would be good to bring your order forms to Church this Easter Sunday. Click the link for more information on the Plant Sale.
Native plants are adapted to local environmental conditions, they require far less water, saving time, money, and perhaps the most valuable natural resource, water. In addition to providing vital habitat for birds, many other species of wildlife benefit as well. Click for Native Plant Fact Sheets from the Long Island Native Plant Initiative.
