Sunday, March 1, 2 pm
Bleecker Hall, St. John’s Church
Join parishioners and friends for a preview of this summer’s Oyster Bay Music Festival at St. John’s Church, Sunday, March 1 at 2 pm. The concert will feature performers from the upcoming season including virtuoso pianist and friend of St. John's Maxim Lando, “Lang Lang’s left hand.” Maxim has recently won the Gilmore Young Concert Artists award and a prestigious Carnegie Hall Young Concert Artists prize with a solo concert at Carnegie’s Zankel Hall. A review of that concert can be found here!
The Concert at St. John’s will celebrate the Festival’s mission to showcase highly gifted music students ages 10-24 (including pianists, classical singers, woodwinds, and strings) in outstanding performances.
The concert will be free and open to the public. An opportunity to support the festival financially will be available at and after the event.
