Outreach Matching Campaign Raises $10,000 for Ukraine Relief
Three cheers for St. John’s!
Outreach’s matching grant for Ukraine relief was enthusiastically supported by the St. John’s community. 29 families participated, raising $6,600 for Save the Children and $3,400 for the International Rescue Committee, enabling us to reach our overall goal of $10,000 (including the 1:1 match, funded by Outreach and The Rector’s Discretionary Fund). We received many nice notes from parishioners saying how glad they were to find a way to help, and to have their donations doubled.
Our sincere thanks to all who participated. Your compassion and generosity will make a difference in the lives of Ukrainian refugees. We continue to pray for peace.
