The Oyster Bay Music Festival (OBMF) will once again be bringing beautiful art music to St. John’s Church. The musicians are excited to return to the pond, and will be presenting two concerts, Some Enchanted Evening by the Pond, on Monday, June 24 at 7:30 pm, and From Pork to Lead, Great Composers are Dead! on Saturday, June 29 at 7:30 pm. This group of rising young stars, including sixteen-year old Maxim Lando, internationally acclaimed pianist and 2018 Young Concert Artists International First Prize winner, will delight lucky listeners. Performing some of the treasured classics from Beethoven to Chopin as well as Broadway favorites, our star students will inspire and uplift your soul.
This event is possible in part due to the generous sponsorship of Betsy Lawrence, the Joel Foundation, Steinway and Sons, and the New York State Council on the Arts. OBMF offers special thanks to the Very Rev. Gideon Pollach and St. John’s Church for making these concerts possible.
This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Huntington Arts Council.
