Don't miss Oyster Bay Music Festival's yearly Spring Fundraiser Concert and Social on June 9th at 3 pm. A special afternoon of classical music and stories will feature return OBMF musicians including violinist Michelle Stern, pianist Maxim Lando, the Zandieh Brothers, flutist Meredith Daly, soprano Teddy Siegel, mezzo soprano Annalisa Emmett and bass-baritone Christopher Lau.

The afternoon's program will feature a medley of classical favorites, virtuoso surprises, and heart-warming melodies. Suggested donation is $100.

News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

Like our lives, our church community is a gift from God we neither earn nor deserve, and yet, it is ours. We are responsible for caring for it, for nourishing it, and for participating in the ever outpouring gift of God's grace which we share through our actions together. We are stewards of these gifts for as long as we live, and we steward the gift of this church so that future generations will have the opportunity to receive God’s grace and put it into action.

Our whole life and ministry is “Grace in Action.”
