Pancake Breakfast

We were all so looking forward to our Mardi Gras Pancake Party for Shrove Tuesday. Our hospitality team and pancake flippers were all organized and ready, and it promised to be a delight - until the snow changed our plans.

While we love a snow day - and we really love a snow day - we missed the chance for fun and fellowship. So, we rescheduled to THIS SUNDAY!

We know that it is a holiday weekend, but if you are available, come join us for Pancake Sunday following the 10 AM service. It's gonna be delicious, and it's gonna be fun. Join us!

News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

Like our lives, our church community is a gift from God we neither earn nor deserve, and yet, it is ours. We are responsible for caring for it, for nourishing it, and for participating in the ever outpouring gift of God's grace which we share through our actions together. We are stewards of these gifts for as long as we live, and we steward the gift of this church so that future generations will have the opportunity to receive God’s grace and put it into action.

Our whole life and ministry is “Grace in Action.”
