PROJECT TOY- Donations Needed
This month, St. John’s will be participating in PROJECT TOY, a special holiday program sponsored and organized by two of our Outreach Partners Tri-CYA and Family Service League. This program gives parents the opportunity to select and receive two new gifts, unwrapped, for each of their children. Tri-CYA and Family Service League hope to give 6000 toys/gifts out to 1000 families in the Huntington area.
They are asking for donations of new toys and gifts for children ages birth-16 and/or new wrapping paper. Each year they have difficulty providing age appropriate gifts for 12-16 year olds, so along with toys, please consider donating sports items, headphones, make up kits or other gifts teens will enjoy receiving.
Please drop donations in Project Toy bin located in the vestibule of the Parsh House by December 14. Parents will begin their shopping the following week.
If you are 18 or older, Tri-CYA is looking for volunteers to help sort and organize toys and/or assist parents with shopping and wrapping of gifts on Holiday Shopping evenings. Please see attached flyer for more information.
