All Saints Flowers
As approach the month of November and the Principle Feast of All Saints' Day, we call to mind our loved ones who have gone before us.
We remember our loved ones with thoughts and prayers, but many times in other ways, like visiting a gravesite to adorn it with flowers.
Perhaps this year in addition to our annual traditions for remembering all of our saints, we might adorn the altar at St. John's Church with flowers to honor our loved ones. When flowers are given in thanksgiving or as a memorial, a special prayer is offered and an announcement printed in the Sunday bulletin.
