This Sunday, our children's and Choir ministries will offer the Cold Spring Harbor premiere of the Musical "Something's Fishy."

"From the stars in the heavens to the bottom of the deep blue sea, God's great big world is an amazing and marvelous creation! "Something’s Fishy!" celebrates this creation and God's greatest creation of all, you and me."

Our kids and volunteers have been working hard for the past two weeks to prepare and stage this incredible performance. We know you won't want to miss the undeniable overload of adorable kids singing and dancing their hearts out.

"Something's Fishy" will be premiered in the 10 AM service and will replace the sermon. Two wonderful things.

News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

Like our lives, our church community is a gift from God we neither earn nor deserve, and yet, it is ours. We are responsible for caring for it, for nourishing it, and for participating in the ever outpouring gift of God's grace which we share through our actions together. We are stewards of these gifts for as long as we live, and we steward the gift of this church so that future generations will have the opportunity to receive God’s grace and put it into action.

Our whole life and ministry is “Grace in Action.”
