Coffee hour is a great way to engage with the St John’s community. Whether you are a new member looking to make connections or reconnecting with friends, join us every week after the 10am service. This Sunday, the Engagement & Hospitality committees are hosting a special Valentine's Day-themed craft for children! Join us to decorate and enjoy delicious heart-shaped cookies with yummy frosting, candies, sprinkles and more! Look out for more details on opportunities to engage.

News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

St. John’s Church is a sacred gift we are entrusted to care for and grow. Rooted in faith, we are called to nurture our church community so that it continues to flourish as a source of spiritual strength, fellowship, and service for generations to come.

Our 2025 Stewardship theme, "Rooted in Faith. Growing in Generosity," reminds us that by deepening our faith, we create a foundation for growth.
