St. John’s Day Camp News & Volunteer Information
We are excited to announce that the St. John’s Day Camp will be operating at its normal capacity this summer. This is great news for the families who depend on this no-cost Town of Huntington camp for academic enrichment and childcare coverage.
As always, we are so grateful for the incredible generosity of our parish, which has supported this outreach program for over 50 years. Plus, our volunteers always add immensely to the campers’ experience by reading books, doing crafts and sharing their talents.
If you are interested in volunteering, we welcome you! Mondays at 10 am work best, but we can set up other times to fit your schedule. Please let Kerith Freidberg know by May 15th if you wish to be added to the list and indicate a week that works best from July 11 through August 8th.
