St. John's Day Camp Picnic
The St. John’s Day Camp is wrapping up this week after a wonderful 6 weeks of learning and fun. It wouldn’t be possible without the support of our parish and all the volunteers who helped make great memories for the adorable campers. Special thanks to Gerry Belglin, Susie Fairchild, Alethea Freidberg, Kiara Freidberg, Ellen Hatch, Judy Hoffman, Gina Jacobson, Bill Kiley, Peter Kohler, Dina Kohler, Marisa Orlich, Gideon Pollach, Sarah Pollach, Jennifer Rafferty, Laura Schoonejans, Laura Swiggett and Cathie Wardell for all of their help, which included a fantastic picnic at Bleeker Hall.
We also want to thank everyone who helped with our special Back to School kit initiative. Through our wish list on Amazon, we received a great set of supplies which included crayons, pencils, erasers, scissors, stickers and rulers that went in a canvas tote the children decorated during their visit to St. John’s. Thank you to all who donated, including the Hewitts, Gisela Hunermund, Maria Murphy, Ellen Hatch and everyone who donated anonymously or directly into the collection bin.
Plus a thank you to our parishioners who helped fill the totes this past Sunday and personalize notes to wish the children a wonderful school year ahead. It truly was a group effort, and the children were so excited about their special totes.
