Support Now Equips the Future
We joined St. Johns around 2011 when our kids were 7 (Ben) and 4 (Danny). We were familiar with St. Johns through the Cold Spring Harbor Nursery School.
St. Johns was very accepting of us when we joined and there were no judgments on anyone's level of participation. As our kids grew and became involved in other weekend activities, we found ourselves less frequent participants in church activities. However, we always felt welcome at St. John’s and continued to contribute to the annual fund.
Even if we weren’t actively participating, we knew our contributions were being used for the good of St. John’s and it’s outreach efforts. St. Johns has provided us and our kids with meaningful volunteer opportunities, especially the grow to give garden.
We believe it is important to continue to support St. Johns through the annual fund to enable St. John’s, under Gideon's leadership and Mary Beth’s tireless efforts, to continue welcoming new families and make a positive impact on the greater community.
