Support the Huntington Interfaith Homeless Initiative

Please join us to support the efforts of the Huntington Interfaith Homeless Initiative (HIHI). Volunteers should arrive between 5 - 5:30 pm to help pack breakfasts, lunches, make beds etc. Want to help but can't stay? You can bring a food item to Central Presbyterian Church at 5 pm the same day. Find out what is needed by visiting the HIHI board outside Bleecker Hall each Sunday through December 8. If you have any questions, contact Debbie Cortes ([email protected]).

News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

St. John’s Church is a sacred gift we are entrusted to care for and grow. Rooted in faith, we are called to nurture our church community so that it continues to flourish as a source of spiritual strength, fellowship, and service for generations to come.

Our 2025 Stewardship theme, "Rooted in Faith. Growing in Generosity," reminds us that by deepening our faith, we create a foundation for growth. Through our collective generosity—offering our time, talents, and treasures—we enable our ministries to thrive, our outreach to expand, and our shared mission to grow stronger.
