Upcoming Outreach Events and Service Opportunities:
Community Solidarity – We have another St. John’s night planned for Tuesday, November 19th, with a bonus Thanksgiving event on Tuesday, November 26th. Many hands are needed! We hope you will join us for a worthwhile experience of packing food and passing it out to cars for those in need. Remember to dress for the weather, as it is outside! www.communitysolidarity.org
Blue Bag Sunday - Our next collection will be Sunday, December 2nd. Please grab a blue bag from the back of church or feel free to use your own shopping bag and fill it with pantry necessities.
TriCYA – As previously mentioned, the annual Project Toy Drive has begun! Any donations of new toys, games, etc…are welcome to be dropped off into the bins in the vestibule of the Bleeker entrance. Other ongoing opportunities for volunteering at TriCYA are after-school Homework Help for students who drop in (Monday-Thursdays 230-530pm) and food packing for their pantry on Mondays at 900am. All are welcome to help. For more information, feel free to contact Lindsay Kamdar or Becky Bonventre.
