We are having a short meeting for folks that are signed up to help, or would like to help at our summer camp. Folks that missed the last meeting we be oriented to our program, and we will have an orientation to the space.

This meeting is at St. John's, Cold Spring Harbor. If you haven't already reached out to Mary Beth or Bryce about volunteering, please send one of them an email to let them know to expect you.

News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

Like our lives, our church community is a gift from God we neither earn nor deserve, and yet, it is ours. We are responsible for caring for it, for nourishing it, and for participating in the ever outpouring gift of God's grace which we share through our actions together. We are stewards of these gifts for as long as we live, and we steward the gift of this church so that future generations will have the opportunity to receive God’s grace and put it into action.

Our whole life and ministry is “Grace in Action.”
