Vestry Nominations 2025
The Vestry of St. John's Church is pleased to announce that we are forming a Nominating Committee for Vestry for 2025. This committee will be responsible for nominating three candidates for Vestry service at the Annual Meeting of St. John's Church on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
The Nominating Committee is seeking nominees for:
- Three Vestry Members: Two for a three-year term and one for a one-year term.
The basic responsibilities of the Vestry include:
- Helping define and articulate the mission of the congregation.
- Supporting the church’s mission through both word and deed.
- Ensuring effective organization and planning.
- Managing resources and finances.
The Vestry works collaboratively to shape the mission and ministry of the church for the future, while ensuring financial and fiscal security. Each Vestry Member serves a renewable three-year term.
We are also in search of a Nominating Committee Chair. Please reach out to Billy Wresch if you would like to volunteer. In lieu of selecting a Nominating Committee Chair, please submit nominees by email to: [email protected].
We hope to fill the Chair position shortly and will communicate the update as soon as possible.
