Junior Warden Nominee: Lindsay Kamdar
Lindsay was born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She has two older sisters who live in Ohio and Massachusetts. Her parents still live in Grosse Pointe. Lindsay and her husband, Dev, have three sons in the CSH School District. Owen (10) is in 5th grade, Anand (8) is in 2nd grade, and Kiran (5) is in Kindergarten. Before having children, Lindsay was a third grade teacher and a math interventionist in Chicago and Detroit. Today, Lindsay enjoys being involved in various committees in the community. She was President of the Executive Board at the Cold Spring Harbor Nursery School for two years, is on the Board at the North Shore Holiday House, and loves playing tennis, paddle, and skiing most weekends in the winter.
After moving to Lloyd Harbor in the summer of 2017, Lindsay began attending services at St. John’s. She and her family became more active in the parish after that, officially joining the church in 2019. Lindsay is a member of the Outreach Committee at St. John's and she and her family have embraced the participation opportunities through Outreach, such as Community Solidarity.
