Junior Warden: Jeremy X.A. Bradford
Jeremy Bradford has been serving as the Secretary of the St. John’s Vestry since 2018. He has been a member of the congregation since he and Joanna (Stevenson) were married here by the Rev. Churchill Pindar in 2000. Joanna and her parents were all lifelong members of St. John’s. Jeremy and Joanna have two daughters, Alice(18) who is a regular Acolyte, Lector and LEM and Sophie (14) who is also a regular Acolyte.
Jeremy was baptized and confirmed in the Church of England where he served on the Vestry of St. Peter’s Church near Cambridge, England, for 3 years. He was also a board member of the Parent Teacher Association for the local elementary school. Here in town, Jeremy served on the board of the Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery from 2006-2009 and coached with the Huntington Boys Club soccer program from 2013-2016.
Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of East Anglia, England and numerous professional qualifications. Jeremy works for a technology consulting company headquartered in Manhattan.
In the warmer months, Jeremy is an avid sailor either cruising with the family or racing Atlantics in Cold Spring Harbor.
Scott Evans
Scott Evans first attended St. John’s Cold Spring Harbor in 2004 while living upstate. He met Margaret Rayne that same year at St. John’s in Huntington and they have been together ever since. They became full-time parishioners at St. John’s Cold Spring Harbor in 2009 and were married at the church in 2015. Their granddaughter, Cambria was baptized at St. John’s.
Since becoming a member, Scott has been and continues to be involved with the Haiti Partnership, the Grow to Give Garden and the African American Cemetery Project all since their inceptions, as well as other St. John’s programs.
Scott has three daughters, Heidi, Ashley and Rachel as well as two sons both prematurely deceased, Douglas and Micah.
Recreationally, Scott enjoys backpacking on the Appalachian Trail with his daughters, their friends and his granddaughter. Scott also enjoys traveling with Margaret, coin collecting, antiques, vinyl albums and reptiles. Scott is a self-employed carpenter who appreciates the challenges of maintaining older homes and upgrading newer ones.
Hugh J. “Jack” Weidinger IV
Jack was raised in Oyster Bay and has been attending St. John’s Church since 1982 when his parents joined the Parish. Confirmed at the Church in 1985, he was married to Julia Tiernan at St. John’s in 2005 (with Carleton Lee officiating), and all three of his children have been baptized here. Julia was also baptized at St. John’s as a child and has had an equally long connection with the Church. Their children, Hugh V (12), William (9), and Eliza (6) are enrolled in Sunday School and St. John’s is an important part of their life as they raise their family in the community. Jack is on the Stewardship Committee and was actively involved in the 2019 Stewardship effort.
Jack attended St. Mark’s School, Southborough, Massachusetts, then got a BS in Finance from Lehigh University and an MBA from Columbia University. He is the third generation (81 years) owner of North Bay Cadillac Buick GMC, in Great Neck and Jaguar Land Rover Freeport, of Freeport, with 180 employees. Jack is a Board Member of the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association and the Glen Cove Boys and Girls Club. Jack and his family live in Locust Valley.
Cathy Roberts Casalicchio
Cathy Casalicchio is the daughter of George and Estelle Roberts and grew up in Lloyd Harbor, graduating from Cold Spring Harbor High School in 1974. She then went onto Parson’s School of Design, majoring in fashion design, and through her career met her life partner Piero. Cathy and Piero were married at St. John’s Church on September 24, 1983 by the Rev. T. Carleton Lee. Their three children George, Brando and Cristina were baptized at St. John’s.
Cathy’s first career was in New York’s garment business as a designer of women’s clothing, from an assistant designer to eventually owning her own dress manufacturing business. Next, she and Piero imported fine Italian fabrics and serviced New York’s Seventh Avenue garment businesses. After the birth of their eldest child, George, she took off time to be a stay at home mom. When Cristina started pre-school, Cathy got her real estate license and has been an agent for Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty ever since.
An avid swimmer and sailor, when she isn't sailboat racing in Cold Spring Harbor or Huntington Harbor, Cathy enjoys teaching sailing to others. She is also a member of the Three Harbor Garden Club and is an accomplished flower arranger. As a member of St. John's Church, she is on the Flower Committee, Caring Connection and sings in the Choir.
Nina Muller
Nina grew up in Cold Spring Harbor and returned to the area with her husband Robert to raise their two children George and Paige. The Muller's joined St. John’s when their daughter Paige was baptized in 2002 and have been active members since. Both George and Paige happily participated in the Sunday school program at St. John’s through confirmation.
Nina was an active member of the St. John’s Flower Committee for a number of years and chaired the committee as well. She has been a member of the BlueGreen Theology Committee since its formation and joined the Stewardship Committee in 2018. In June of this past year, Nina took on the role of Stewardship Chair and has enjoyed leading the Committee in their work to engage parishioners in helping to further the mission and ministries of St. John’s.
Prior to raising a family, Nina had a 13-year career at Merrill Lynch as a Business Analyst. More recently she was Director of External Affairs at the Heckscher Museum of Art for five years and is currently Campaign Director of the North Shore Land Alliance where she is responsible for a major capital campaign to raise funds for the protection of natural areas on the north shore.
In her spare time Nina enjoys cooking with her children, Yoga, working out at the gym and playing tennis.
