Are you interested in being part of our 3rd-Annual Vacation Bible School and Choir Camp? There are opportunities to get involved at every level, from spending the whole day with us to making a grocery run in the evening.

We are having our first open planning meeting for 2024. Join the conversation at noon at St. John's in Huntington, Camp will be August 12-16 & August 19-23.

We need Volunteers for:
- food shopping
- lunch preparation
- arts & crafts
- set design
- lunch attendants
- playground help
- teaching Bible stories
- rehearsing lines
- choir rehearsal
- and more......

News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

Like our lives, our church community is a gift from God we neither earn nor deserve, and yet, it is ours. We are responsible for caring for it, for nourishing it, and for participating in the ever outpouring gift of God's grace which we share through our actions together. We are stewards of these gifts for as long as we live, and we steward the gift of this church so that future generations will have the opportunity to receive God’s grace and put it into action.

Our whole life and ministry is “Grace in Action.”
