Winter warm clothing drive report
Parishioners’ response to St. John’s winter coat/clothes drive was nothing short of astonishing. Donations filled 10 large leaf bags. As you can see from the picture your contributions filled every square inch of a SUV (picture optional- change wording]. One generous family even went out and purchased some new coats specifically for the drive.

Where do these warm coats go? St. johns outreach has a history of supporting The Gerald Ryan Outreach Center in Wyandanch. Their website states, “Our dedicated staff, volunteers and donors believe we must follow God’s call to meet the needs of others – one individual at a time.” Gerald Ryan provides clothing, food, toys, diapers even overnight housing to a local underserved community. We are privileged to assist this effective and well-run Christian organization’s efforts to help the families and individuals in dire need.
