Join us for a special time of being outdoors. The leading theme of the night will be Blue-Green Theology. As you may know that is one of the leading ideas at St. John’s, and on Sunday you will be able witness to it up close. There are huge things about to launch here!

So, we will walk around the church campus to highlight some of our current initiatives. St. John’s cares about our environment, your environment!

Then at 5pm we will attend Evensong in the church as a group. This is a special offering for All Saints and we encourage parents to come! This service will end the Y.G. meeting. We will have snacks only - no dinner for this meeting.

Bring a friend too!

News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

Like our lives, our church community is a gift from God we neither earn nor deserve, and yet, it is ours. We are responsible for caring for it, for nourishing it, and for participating in the ever outpouring gift of God's grace which we share through our actions together. We are stewards of these gifts for as long as we live, and we steward the gift of this church so that future generations will have the opportunity to receive God’s grace and put it into action.

Our whole life and ministry is “Grace in Action.”
