Caring Connection

The Caring Connection is a ministry that strives to let parishioners know that they are never alone. We reach out to those who may be homebound, facing health challenges, recovering from surgery, grieving, or navigating a difficult season of life.

Whether through a friendly phone call, a handwritten note, freshly baked treats, or a simple visit, we offer encouragement, kindness, and the comfort of knowing that the St. John’s community is praying for them. Our ministry is centred on connection, compassion, and bringing God’s love to others in meaningful, personal ways.

Volunteer opportunities

Deliver a meal · provide a home visit · make phone calls · send get-well and remembrance cards · serve as a volunteer contact person for one month in the year.

If you are interested in joining the Caring Connection, please reach out to Janine Prestegaard (jpresteg93@gmail.com) or Laurie Hooey (laurie@ladybugmarketing.com).
